Day 02 / May 01: Rome Arrival (D)

Arrival Fiumicino Airport (Rome), after the immigration and customs formalities, transfers to hotel for overnight.

Day 03 / May 02: Rome (BD)

After breakfast, we will have a Papal audience in the morning. Then have a half day guided tour to see the Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel. Visit also the St. Peter Square, destination of all Catholics coming from all over the world. Dinner and overnight

Day 04 / May 03: Rome (BD)

After breakfast, will have a full day guided tour to visit the Basilica San Paul Outside the Walls, the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, the Basilica of San Giovanni in Laterano, and The Holy Steps. In the afternoon, visit The Classical Rome: Venezia, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. Have dinner at a local restaurant. Return to hotel for overnight.

Day 05 / May 04: Rome – Cascia – Assisi (BD)

Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Then have a long distance transfer to Assisi. Pass by Cascia, a town and commune of the Italian province of Perugia in a rather remote area of the mountainous south-eastern corner of Umbria. Visit Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi, built into the side of a hill and comprises two churches known as the Upper Church and the Lower Church, and a crypt where the remains of the saint are interred. Then visit to Basilica di Santa Chiara (Basilica of St. Clare) in Assisi, a 13th- century church that houses the relics of St. Clare, friend and protege of St. Francis of Assisi, as well as the miraculous crucifix that spoke to Francis. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 06 / May 05: Assisi – Genoa – Nice (BD)

Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Have a long distance transfer to Nice, a city in southern France on the Mediterranean coast through Genoa. Check in, dinner and overnight.

Day 07 / May 06: Nice – Montpellier – Barcelona (BD)

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Montpellier – a city in southern France. It is the capital of the Languedoc-Roussillon region, as well as the Hérault department. Then arrive in Barcelona, the proud capital of Catalonia. Have dinner and overnight at your hotel.

Day 08 / May 07: Barcelona – Montserrat – Barcelona (BD)

Today’s highlight is a visit to the monastery of Montserrat, perched high on an awesome mountain range rising from the Catalonian plain. Visit the Royal Basilica and pray to the venerated Black Madonna which according to tradition, was carved by St. Luke. Listen to the singing of the celebrated “Escalonia” by the children’s choir, considered be the oldest in Europe. Back to Barcelona to visit Sagrada Familia, the large Roman Catholic church in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain, designed by Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí. Visit also Parc Guell, a garden complex with architectural elements situated on the hill of el Carmel. Dinner and overnight

Day 09 / May 08: Barcelona – Zaragoza – Madrid (BD)

After breakfast, we will move on to Zaragoza and Visit the huge  Basilica of the miraculous Nuestra Senora del Pilar. Then arrive

Day 10 / May 09: Madrid – Avila – Fatima (BD)

Breakfast at the hotel prior check-out. Then we will have a long distance transfer to Fatima via Avila. Proceed to hotel for check-in, dinner and overnight.

Breakfast and check out at the hotel. Then have a long distance transfer to Fatima. Have a half day guided tour to Our Lady of Fatima Basilica, to visit the tombs of Francisco and Jacinta. and rest of the day will be free for your own private devotion. Day 12 / May 11: Fatima – Salamnca – Burgos (BD)

Breakfast at the hotel. Then we drive up to picturesque hills of Spain via Salamanca and arrive at BURGOS, the home of “EL CID” and capital of Old Castille in the middle Ages. It was once a seat of the government of the Dictator Franco. Dinner and overnight

Day 13 / May 12: Burgos – Loyola – Lourdes (BD)

Depart for Loyola. Pray at the Basilica. The museum will impress you. It was in Loyola that Our Lady appeared to St. Ignatius with the Christ Child. Then profound conversion began. Later in life, St. Ignatius renounced his portion of the family’s wealth, wrote the famous book of Spiritual Exercises and became the founder of the Jesuit Order. Celebrate Mass here. Transfer to Lourdes for dinner and overnight.

Day 14 / May 13: Lourdes (BD)

Breakfast at the hotel, and then continue for a Eucharistic Celebration. You may wish to bathe in the miraculous water. You’ll be immensely inspired by the humble life of Saint Bernadette. Perhaps watch a movie or visit a museum on her life. Pray collectively the life-size Stations of the Cross in its most magnificent setting. Now meditate at the Grotto for a close communication with God. GAIN PLENARY INDULGES!

Day 15 / May 14: Lourdes / Paris (BD)

Depart for Paris via fast train. Visit to the Shrine of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal where you’ll pray afterwards before the incorrupt body of St. Catherine Laboure. Visit the Cathedral of Notre Dame, one of the greatest Gothic churches in the world with its magnificent stained glass windows. Take an included cruise along the River Seine. Dinner and overnight.

Day 16 / May 15: Paris – Lisieux – Paris (BD)

After breakfast, drive to Lisieux and have a half day guided tour to visit the Holy sites of St. Therese of the Child Jesus, which includes visit to St. Therese House (the Maison Buissonet). Return to Paris, Dinner and overnight

Day 17 / May 16: Departure Paris (B)

See the majestic Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysees, and Place de Concorde, one of the most admired plazas in the world. And go up to the Eiffel Tower for a scenic view of the loveliest city in the world. Rest will be free until departure transfer to Airport..

FEB 05 / Day 02 – DUBAI CITY TOUR (B)

Breakfast at the hotel, then proceed to Dubai half day city tour to visit Jumeirah Mosque (outside view only), Spice Souk, Gold Souk, entrance to Dubai museum which contains artifacts and relics of Arabic life and history of Dubai. Rest of the afternoon is free. Overnight at hotel.

FEB 06 / Day 03 – DESSERT SAFARI WITH BBQ DINNER (B,D)

After breakfast, rest of the morning is free for shopping on your own. Afternoon at 1600 hrs pick up to your hotel , depart from the hotel and drive up to the deflation point, for deflating tires before entering the desert where the off-road adventure starts– Dune bashing (a roller coaster ride in the sand dunes) and 2 photo stops (camel farm and stunning desert sunset). Experience a warm Arabian welcome with a refreshing towel, dates, and Arabic coffee on arrival at the North Tours desert camp. At the camp utilize the facilities and entertainment provided; (camel riding, sheesha smoking, photo shoot in Arabic costumes, Henna painting & BBQ buffet dinner).  End the evening with an exotic performance by our enchanting belly dancer.  Lastly, arrive at the inflation point and inflate tires for the drive back to the hotel and overnight.

DAY 01: MANILA – AMMAN (D)

Depart from Manila… Meet and assist at Queen Alia Airport. Meet your Jordanian guide and board to your air-conditioned bus to Madaba, the city of Mosaic. Continue to visit Mt. Nebo, where Moses viewed the Promised Land before he died. Then, continue to your hotel for check-in, dinner and overnight.

DAY 02: AMMAN – PETRA – AMMAN (B,D)

After breakfast, Proceed to your full day tour to Petra, “a rose-red city half as old as time”, the place in the desert that is prepared by God for the Jewish people. Also experience horseback ride through the picturesque SIQ, and visit the Treasury, a rose colored monumental building artfully carved out of sheer rock. Transfer to Amman. Continue to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

DAY 03: AMMAN – BORDER CROSSING – JERICHO – QUMRAN – DEAD SEA – TIBERIAS (B,D)

Check-out from your hotel after breakfast. Drive to the border to cross Israel. Upon arrival Israel, drive to Jericho for a view of the Mt. of Temptation and the Sycamore Tree. Continue to Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Lastly, spend some time at the lowest point on Earth, the Dead Sea. Later in the afternoon, we will proceed to Tiberias for hotel check-in, dinner and overnight.

DAY 04: CANA – NAZARETH – MT. TABOR – YARDENIT – SEA OF GALILEE (BD)

Breakfast at hotel. Morning drive to Cana for a visit of the Church of the First Miracle known also as the Marriage Church, here couples will have an opportunity to renew their marriage vows. Then onto Nazareth, the place where Jesus spent His childhood; the Church of the Annunciation which was believed to be where the angel Gabriel Announced to the Blessed Mother of Christ which she humbly accepted, “Behold I am the handmaid of the Lord. May it be done to me according to your word” and Mary’s well. Drive to Mt. Tabor and ascend by taxi to the Church of Transfiguration. Descend after and proceed to Yardenit for renewal of baptism. Late afternoon, continue for a boat ride at the Sea of Galilee where Jesus’ performed some of His Miracles like when he walked on the water (Mark 6:48). On the cruise, have an opportunity to reflect on the messages of our Lord as we savor the beauty of nature while sailing at the Sea of Galilee. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

DAY 05: MT. OF BEATITUDES – TABGHA – CAPERNAUM – BETHLEHEM (BD)

Check-out from hotel after breakfast and proceed to Mt. of Beatitudes, the traditional site where Jesus uttered the immortal words “Blessed are the poor in Spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of God”. (Matthew 5:3-12). Visit the Church and its grounds for private reading of the Sermon on the Mount. Continue to nearby Tabgha, the site where Jesus performed the Miracle of the Multiplication of Loaves and Fishes; visit the Church of the Loft and Fish Miracle. On the stone which serves as the altar, there is mosaic of basket of loaves flanked by two fish to commemorate this miraculous event. Two hundred yards away is the Church of Primacy, built in1934 in basalt over a massive rock called “Mensa Christi”. Here where the Risen Lord appeared to his disciples, prepared breakfast for them and gave St. Peter the pastoral commission, Feed my Sheep (John 21:15-19). Next visit will be to Capernaum, the home of St. Peter. Proceed to the Greek Orthodox Church and the nearby archaeological excavations of the Synagogue and community. Scenic drive to Bethlehem for hotel check-in, dinner and overnight.

DAY 06: BETHLEHEM – EIN KAREM (B,D)

After breakfast, we visit Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus and visit the Church of the Nativity, where we find the Grotto of Nativity, Altar of Christ’s Birth and Manger’s Square. In the afternoon, tour of Ein Karem the birthplace of St. John the Baptist (now the Church of St. John the Baptist) and the Church of Visitation – where Mary came after the angel Gabriel informed her cousin Elizabeth was six months pregnant despite her advance years. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight.

DAY 07: JERUSALEM OLD CITY – MT. OF OLIVES – MT. ZION (B,D)

After breakfast. Early morning proceed for a morning tour of Jerusalem’s Old City, starting from the St. Stephen’s Gate (the Lion’s Gate), stopping at St. Anne’s Church – regarded as the birthplace of the Virgin Mary and the home of St. Anne and Joachin, the Pool of Bethesda, where Jesus told the lame man to take up his bed and walk. Reflect while following the Way of the Cross (Via Dolorosa) ending at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre – the burial place and resurrection of Jesus. It was built over the site of the place called Golgotha, which means “a place of skull”.  Continue for a visit of the Cardo and the Jewish Quarter before arriving at the Western (Wailing) Wall, the last vestige of the second temple, where Jews all over the world gather to commemorate the destruction of the first and second temple and pray for Israel’s restoration. In the afternoon, we will appreciate the Holy City of Jerusalem with a visit to the Mount Of Olives, for a panoramic view of the city, Ascension Chapel – traditional place where Jesus ascended into heaven; then Paster Noster Church traditionally the site where Jesus taught the disciples how to pray “Our Father”; then Dominus Flevit Church in memory of Jesus weeping over the fate of Jerusalem. Visit the Church of Ascension and walk the Palm Sunday route down the hill to the Garden of Gethsemane for an intercessory prayer; it was here where Jesus spent His last night before He was arrested; Basilica of Agony, stopping along the way at the Maria Magdalena Church. Visit the Church of All Nations at the Garden of Gethsemane. Drive to Nearby Mount Zion and visit the Last Supper’s Room and the Tomb of King David. Visit the Dormition Abbey – traditionally the site where the Virgin Mary slept last; and St. Peter’s Church in Gallicantu – traditional site where St. Peter denied Jesus for 3 times. Return to our hotel for dinner and overnight.

DAY 08: BETHLEHEM – BORDER CROSSING – ST CATHERINE (B,D)

Check-out from hotel after breakfast. Drive to Taba Border to cross to Egypt. Arrive at the Border. Meet your guide and driver after passport formalities. Transfer to your hotel in Sinai for check-in, dinner and overnight.

DAY 09: ST. CATHERINE – CAIRO (B,D)

In the early morning, climb at the Moses Mountain and catch the sunrise (optional). Here is where God spoke to Moses. Then, back to the hotel for breakfast. Visit Saint Catherine Monastery. Check-out at the hotel then transfer to Cairo hotel for check-in, dinner and overnight.

DAY 10: FULL DAY CAIRO (B,D)

After breakfast at the hotel, start your full day sightseeing visits at the Egyptian Museum, where you will find artifacts, relics, statues and Jewelry from all of the Pharaohs that reign are also included, The Great Pyramids, which was constructed over 4,500 years ago and show us the power and wealth of the pharaoh in the Old Kingdom and Sphinx of Giza, which was believed to be a form of a Sun God and was worshipped in ancient days, Old Cairo including Church of Abu Serga, this is where the Holy Family hide, St. Sergius Church and Khan El Khalili Bazaar. DAY 11: CAIRO – MANILA (B)

After breakfast, half day tour visiting Memphis and Sakkara, capital of Old Egypt and considered to be the center of rule and culture for over 3000 years. See the Step Pyramids of Zoser, built around 2630 BC for King Djoser, making it the world’s oldest major stone structure, an idea of the pharoah’s architect Imhotep as a way to better please the gods and admire the statue of Ramses II, believed to be the Pharaoh during the Exodus. Then transfer to airport for flight back to Manila.

On the way to the ridge, drive by fruit stalls and visit the famous Bamboo Organ of the Las Piñas Church (the only one of its kind in the world).

TAAL VOLCANO CRATER TREK

Drive down the winding road until Talisay, Batangas. There we board a motorized outrigger boat to Taal Volcano Island 30 minutes away. This tour takes you southwards, to the old town of Pagsanjan. After lunch at a resort, transfer to a dugout canoe for the trip to the falls. At the second, main fall (another 25 mins further, not reachable at high water), the water comes from 70 ft above. A bamboo raft will take you underneath this waterfall. Itinerary :

Day 1

Early morning pick up from hotel. Depart Manila to the summer capital of the country, Baguio. Drive by some areas affected by Mt Pinatubo’s volcanic eruption last 1991.

( Optional : Hike Mt Pinatubo and see its crater lake  the morning of day 1 ) .

Afternoon driving tour of  Baguio’s main spots:  Botanical garden, Mine’s View, Camp John Hay, the cathedral and well supplied public market. Check in at superior category hotel for overnight stay. Dinner.

Day 2

After breakfast in the hotel departure for Sagada passing the rough and bumpy Halsema Highway (called “the mountain trail of Benguet”) offering breathtaking views (approx. 5 hrs). Check in at standard accommodation in Sagada. Dinner at the patio. Evening free to mingle with the locals and see the Masfere photos.

Day 3

After breakfast meet your local guide and depart for Lumiang, a burial cave containing coffins of 400 years old, Sumaguing Cave and see other hanging coffins within easy sight of Echo Valley. Proceed to Bontoc (2 hrs) for a visit of the charming Museum of Mt.Cultures. Proceed to Banaue (3 hrs), the ancestral home of the Ifugao tribe and famous rice terraces. Arrive late afternoon, visit the Banaue Museum and check-in at accommodation. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4

After breakfast you and your local guide will board a jeepney for one hour bumpy drive along the Banaue rice terraces. From there you trek to either Banga-an Village or Batad Village (more intense walking) and discover the typical Ifugao way of life. End of day return to Banaue for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5

Banaue/ Manila. Return trip to Manila (10 hrs). Arrive in Manila late afternoon.
