Take a boat ride and visit St. Mark’s Basilica and
get a chance to watch Venetian Glass blowers fashion
their delicate objects as they did centuries ago. Go
for a long but interesting drive southward cutting
across the Po Delta, then joining the expressway
which skirts the Adriatic coast. After crossing the
Apennines, stop in Assisi where St. Francis was born
in 1182. Visit the Basilica then head to Rome.
Take a sightseeing tour of Peter’s Square followed
by a visit to the Roman Forum and mighty Collosseum.
Visit Pompeii where time stopped in 79 AD, when the
Vesuvius eruption totally destroyed it. See
luxurious villas, temples, theater and forum, even
